where's the main man Pikey Mardon?? He's a regular Antipodean radmember
Anybody that competed on the Kellogs event was deemed a pro so was banned from entering BMX Beat 85 :(
hey andy can never seem to find anything on the web about your riding days and pics anyone help out embarass andy time ?lol
hey jeff or who ever you are, why do you act so big headed, you gave up in around 84-85 you was on the gt tour, you rode with fiola, so what, you was a young boy,[boy]you gave up for nearly 20 years, reading your posts you speak like it was yesterday, grow up, you wouldn't talk like that in any skatepark today, they'd laugh at you, i have two boys who work for me who nearly made it as pro footballers, both played for west ham all there lives, for probs 10 years, the've got on with there lives with out talking like has beens, my old rom pal bill stupps was big in the 80s and i see him every week at rom , he never brags about any thing to do with the old skool, just has a laugh and tells plenty of storys , like i say enjoy talking about the old days but dont act flash like it was yesterday. my lad who is 14 would slaughter you in a skate park today. so would bill stupps boy and rom blokes boy, once again enjoy the old days and remember they where the old days, ps this is an old skool site to remember yesteryear wth fond memories not personal bragging for some old has beens,
theres down to earth, then about a foot below that hidin is Andy........... Will get me dad to watch the moans today sure it's his bag?

Wow is that me? I dont recognise the bike but I can see a rector elbowpad that I always wore and still wear, not the same ones ;D I would love a clear pic of that to show my kids. I think that is Mason Smith in the Haro gear.
Ta for that Trev :daumenhoch:
I have just been through all my posts to see what I have said that could make me sound big headed and i have found nothing. Its just all bmx banter with people I ride with.
i was reigning world champion for 11 years straight. i was doing 900's in 1979. no one could beat me, i was unstoppable. i had to retire to give others a chance. fiola would drug me on the morning of a show so he didnt looks so shit compared to me. and after the shows i would have a bunk up with peter hawkins
andy, i am a tubby gumby boy
i am a tubby gumby boy
i am a tubby gumby boy

I'm with you on that Tricknuts, I would never have guessed that to be Mason. I haven't seen him in over 16 years. As anyone who knows me, my biggest claim to fame was finishing above Mason in a pro flatland comp. ;D I think I need to take a trip to Custom Riders to see how he is.
They were all sh!t........Except Bill of course :daumenhoch: :LolLolLolLol:
who the fook is madall does anybody know has he was rather upset his name is not there but never replies with who he is and why his name should be on the list ? :wtf:
pobably coz he didnt like my seatclamp :LolLolLolLol: he likes back splits i was told :-X
i wander how much he pays that bird to pose on his bikes :LolLolLolLol:
Too Fcuking much lol:LolLolLolLol:
Can I just make a point, (and not that Andy did bragg), but if you can't talk proudly and with fond memories about your BMX past then there's not a lot we can talk about on this site :( The more stories about what you did and who you rode for the better as far as I'm concerned. Don't know about you guys but I'm personally not fussed about what who can do what nowadays, historically I'm only interested in the pioneering times.
One of my best and proudest times have been at Rad meets lining up with the likes of Billstup and Geth on the startgate. These guys were/are real heros of mine (sorry to embarrass you folks) and in turn rode against some big, big names.. now if you can't brag about that what can you brag about!! :-\
Some great pics on this post by the way chaps keep em coming :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:
i wonder who got the grand job
of putting the jewels on the brooks pink bits
Steven Macintosh doesn't ride BMX anymore but still likes the sport and does some MTB riding and Ben Dickenson doesn't ride either but says he can still pull a few 360s.
Glyn Lewis has Motor neurons and doesn't want any thing to do with BMX as he is now in a wheel chair a lot of the time
Old Fools organised by Steve Wilson is as close as you'll get to an OS pros reunion at the moment, although it's open to riders of all ages and skills (or just folk that like a good time and a bevvy!).
Roadtrip number 11 happening this weekend, in fact, they'll all be nursing killer hangovers from the all night lock in at the Driftwood Spars in St. Agnes as I type this.....LoL!
Look in Members Events and Gatherings section for the Old Fools forum....
