Title: Uni Seat Restoration
Post by: nobby on April 12, 2021, 02:57 PM
Hi, I have an original Uni Seat on my Quadangle that I?d like to tidy up. The Seat itself is in good shape, but at some point in its long life the underneath has been sprayed white, I'm guessing it was done with aerosol.

Has anybody removed paint from one of these successfully ? I'm a little concerned about using spirits or paint stripper in case it damages the plastic. Thanks in advance if anybody can help.

Norm

Be very careful with them. They will work, but too much at once will eat the plastic. Maybe try a bit on the end of a cotton bud and see how you get on.
