Our Olympic and now, new World Champion!! :Great_Britain: :4_17_5: :Great_Britain: :4_17_5:

More screenshots! :daumenhoch:

Incredible. Amazing to see her doing so well
-
Well-deserved too! Not just because of her well-documented funding difficulties but her on-track performances too. Both in the Olympics and the Worlds, she looked fast throughout and grabbed both mains by the horns! Top stuff!
-
Beth Shriever STILL rocks!! If you missed it, she's just won the World Championships again!! :Great_Britain: :4_17_5:
-
I caught it earlier. British BMXers are at there best. Lets not forget about Kieran Reilly's gold as well. Go team GM
-
Beth just won the Olympic test event in Paris! Fingers crossed she can repeat the feat at the real thing this summer!! :Great_Britain: :daumenhoch:

British Cycling finally confirmed this week that Beth and Kye Whyte will represent Team GB (again) in Paris! Both have had an up and down 2024 thus far, so fingers crossed that the stars align for them in Paris. Racing is scheduled for 1st and 2nd August. :daumenhoch: :Great_Britain:

When Beth won gold they were on the news. They showed his bike collection. I spotted a Hwa Fong, and I knew I had seen it before so I pmed him. Really cool guy tbh, and loves to talk BMX !
-
Never knew that!! I think I’ve even commented on one or two of his bikes!! :daumenhoch:
Hope Beth’s fully recovered from her collar bone injury.

Well...she didn't make it two in a row but was looking great until the main. BMX racing has changed so much in the last 40 to 50 years but it just goes to show that the start and/or getting the holeshot is STILL the most important part of the race.
