Just stripping off all parts I can for spares from an old set.
Can the steel bearing cups be removed from alloy hubs, or are they cast in?
I've given it a few whacks but it isn't moving. If it can be removed I'll keep trying.
Thanks.

gotta drill out the rivets mate!
but get the right side ;)

The bearing cups do come out, bang them out from the other side with a screwdriver.
i agree with ruler though, if the hubs are ok drill them out too.

oh i was thinking of the hub
hammer away

Thanks for the replies, I'll get hammering.
The alloy hubs themselves were crushed in from cone-overtightening, and over zealous bleaching has badly pitted the surface. They could be polished but that might mean losing the Skyway logo.
I wouldn't think the hubs would be any use to anyone, but you never know, I'll try getting them out too.
The wheel itself has a crack in the rim, I'm guessing only fit for the skip now.
Edit>> Got the cups out, used an old stembolt and hammer - ideal!
That bit of plastic tubing came out through the hole. Will try to drill the hub out next, but haven't got a drill here, will have to wait a bit.
