Title: 1993 Hyper Metro XL
Post by: stidds on September 16, 2022, 10:35 AM
I have always liked the early midschool race bikes, especially the Hyper Metro.

So I have put this bike together with mostly parts that I had in my spares boxes.

The only things I purchased was the Frame (thanks Ed), spoke nipples and valve caps (basically anything purple).

It has a lovely 21" top tube, so a good rider.

Parts List:

Frame:  Hyper Metro XL
Forks:  Korsair
Headset:  Tange
Stem:  Powerlite
Bars:  Dyno
Grips:  ODI
Brake Lever:  Dia-Compe Tech-77
Brake Cable:  Dia-Compe
Brake Caliper:  Dia-Compe Big Dog
Rims:  Araya Super 7X
Hubs:  Powerlite
Tyres:  Cheng Shin Comp 3
Cranks:  Profile
Chainring:  Tuf Neck
Chain:  KMC Fat Chain
Pedals:  VC body with Bullseye cages
Seat Clamp:  Powerlite
Seat Post:  GT micro adjust
Seat:  Selle Italia Superlegerra
Padset:  Dyno
