Title: finished at last
Post by: rakas17 on September 30, 2006, 03:45 AM
finaly got this how i want it, more finished pics and parts run down in the museum..

this is how it looked when i got hold of it

stripped it and rubbed the dirt off, check the backstreet boys t-shirt

preparing to nitromors it, thirsty work!

pretty rusty and pitted in places, had to get heavy duty on it with the DA

sent it to my mate to chrome, he did some sort of copper plating thing before the chrome to smooth out any small marks left.

finaly got it how i want it and how its gonna stay.

yeah he did say that he was offered that in london.  he's an old mate and sold it to me for £75 on condition that i didn't sell it on so it kinda stays in the family.

Very nice, where did you get it chromed ?

my mate runs a plating business but i dont think he realy likes doing bikes, i'll ask him if he wants some extra work, if so i'll post his address and number up here...
