hey jim, you won the ebay pads  ;) i'll get ya next time  :2gunsfiring_v1:  :LolLolLolLol:

do you have the frame pad? if you do mate can you either pm me or let me know what the dimensions are, also hem width and pop spacings. i have 2 proline frame sets to put pads on so i'm thinking of getting some repos made up as finding originals are gunna be near impossible to get at a sane price. thanks.

Sorry I outbid you mate, but I NEEDED those pads.

Been speaking to  a guy in the states who has 2 frame pads, a stem pad, 2 v bar adn 2 straight bar pads. All white vinyl, poppered and NOS

I'm trying to get the frame pad from him as that is all i am missing.

Jimm,

BNot sure what pads you have just won, but hopefully originals, as Neil (Subwax) has outed some pushers of repro's being sold as originals over on osbmx!!

Love the look of that bike

Frosy been reading Neil's posts on the american sites, as part of my research into finding original pads.

The ones I won are originals. Had been emailing the seller before bidding.

They look a lot cleaner in the shots he used for the auction. He sent me some close up pictures and they are screenprinted rather than heated adhesives. So can tell they are not repros. They need a clean and have a bit of an aged look but not too bad as the poppers aren't rusted. If they are repros they have done a damn good job.

What ones are they Redline or Carrera??

Just a redline v-bar and stem pad.

I need a frame pad. Which is gonna be fun. But sorting out a NOS Redline one for now until (IF) i find a carrera frame pad.

I is very happy thou' init!

Tricky,

Just seen these Prolione decals on the bay if you are still after some. Note sure from the pic what colour the edges are though!!

Yeah cheers for that Guy.

They look about right, think they are about as close as we will get.
However i am dubious as to whether they are repos... the original main stickers are joined over the top of the tube with clear sticker and there is no chromo Japan sticker.

i don't mind losing to you jim, they're destined for a nice bike  :daumenhoch:. from what you're saying, redline aren't real keen on repos being made, well they better start making them then cause i'm about to build at least 2 prolines and i'm sure i'll be putting pads on genuine or not :coolsmiley:

Tricky, i know what you're saying about the one piece frame sticker and i'll be checking out my frame when it arrives to confirm it. but that set on ebay is more accurate for the proline than the 2 colour "carrerer" offering from redline.
