Title: help removing flaky chrome from a hutch stem!
Post by: dirtyvans on October 03, 2006, 12:51 PM
any ideas?

i did just paint it black, but it'd be nice stripped and polished (gota finish of my CW cruiser)

its also got hutch cruiser bars, these would be nice chromed, any ideas how much bars are to get chromed?

cheers rich

the best thing i can say to getting rid of the flaking cheap is to wrap it up in a bag and send it to me
then you will have no more flaking to worry about   :) . on a serious note £20 will get the bars chromed and as for stripping stem take it to the chromers and they will do a reverse proses in an costic acid mix with electrodes it will release the chrome
