I've heard that someone has converted a love heart kuwi into an ET by sanding down the gusset...
How successful was it in regards to the original ?
cheers

Must be very strong sandpaper LOL
The Heart stamped frames were Tanges. I had this discusion with Spacefruit, but couldn't remember whether the hole in the ET was a flat circle in the gusset, or whether it actually had a slightly raised "bezzle" around it. In any case, some careful drilling and filing would be possible. But I guess it would be better to clamp it all in a pillar drill with some sacrificial material tacked in to stop the drill mullering the gusset.

the ET frames had a flat hole in the Gusset just like the KZ1 bikes ;)

I think the hole would end up bigger but could be done.

i'm pretty sure its been done before & came out OK ;)
i suppose you'd need to keep the hole as small as possible so it was just using the edges of the heart :-\

The maximum width of the heart is 20mm, that same as the diameter of the round hole in the E.T. It can be done, but there is no tolerance, so you may end up with a slightly larger diameter hole. Probably only noticeable to us perverts though ;)
I plan to do mine, but it's way down in the queue.

The heart wasn't big
