So that's why cycle clips come in pairs. I always wondered why, now I can die a happy man.

Like the Clemtwin crank idea, but with Profiles.
That would be pricey for 2 drive side cranks.
Wasn't it really difficult to get both chains equally tensioned, so one chain would always end up coming off when the frame flexed?
I recall reading an article a while back.
Agree about the cycle clips :)

would it give more power , surely not

Maybe, but if so it's totally wasted by using Z Rims :LolLolLolLol:

spesh if its a flip flop hub as he wont be able to stop peddling
even when the pedal falls off as its on the wrong side lol

I read that the idea was to reduce power lost to flex, because a single chainring tends to pull the wheel and frame to one side.
But technical problems (i.e. the chain(s) tending to come off) meant it wasn't very practical.
There's a thread on vbmx about it (not the bike above, but clem cranks in general).

I just think its silly. :uglystupid2:

Yep, a solution looking for a problem.

well defo diffrent , thinkin about it yer would lose power to the rear wheel as more drive train yer have = more power lost
-
its like 2 crank shafts and still using the 1 engine, friction would play a part and so would the general resistance of the chain and the sprocket , would that flex outway that .
Fuk knows and quite frankly it would fuk up both inside legs of me trousers so i dont care.

techie issues aside I think it looks the nuts :daumenhoch:
