ok. i think i've bought a 1990 redline f/f. not being up to date with post 1983 components my question is what would you blokes be looking at for components for a rider? this is a really neat set and i would like to build it up. some pics would be nice too so i can check out which sticker set to buy. so post up your parts lists for me.

That looks nice mate! get it built up ready for MK next year! :daumenhoch:
-
what is the number????

the frame number is L900XXXXX which led me to believe it is a 1990 model along with RL etched on the stem tube gussets. i'm thinking twin pinch flights and all blue components. i just don't know what are the correct components for a '90's bike, as i have early eighties proline frames.

here's an update so far on the redline. just waiting for wheels and pitbull brakes from the USA. the forklifter stem i won on ebay turned up 20 minutes after this piccy was taken :daumenhoch: my son helped me apply the stickers, which are too modern for this frame set but they look good :coolsmiley:
