Post by: WizardWeb on October 08, 2006, 12:49 PM
Ok he doesn't do the trendy tricks, but he's approaching 40 and he's as rad as he ever was !

DMC is the only rider to ever win  top comps in every  disipline flat, vert, dirt and park. he a god he has won more shit than people nowadays are aware of  but the level of riding is going through the roof with the likes of cranmer, wade aitken and young and co , cant  expect a 40 year old to do it it just aint gonna happen  DMC  still owns though  just not like the new breed, i mean  have you seen cranmer manual over the jump box to front flip in ,that says it all .

I only found out about Dennis about two years ago when I got back into the sport. He is unreal that he has been riding all these years & is so good, he is a legend  :4_17_5:

Yep DMC is definitely in the top 5 greats. If it weren't for his knackered wrists, then he'd still be doing flatland too.

I'd say it was him and Hoffman that kept it all going until Mirra and co got to the top in the mid 90's.  Between them, they invented a hell of a lot of tricks. :)

I think most of us remember his flatland routine at holeshot... OMG, I screamed so much I lost my voice for a week.

Def in my top 5 riders of all time - kept me inspired to ride all the way through the 90's, the guy is amazing. I remeber meeting him at a KOC when he was on his Black Mongoose, and he was v cool and friendly. One of my all time heroes - long live DMC!

Ithink we all have a special admiration for DMC cos he's either close to our age or even older, nd we know he's been through it all. He's ridden with Bob  Haro, Wi lkerson, Hoffman, Mirra and everyone in between. A true star. Top of the class. He deserves 5 radbmx golden thumbs  up.  :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch: They don't come much better than this.
true dedication... :4_17_5:
