I was at a comp in 88 or 89 at Derby or somewhere like that and Greg was riding a Haro sport which had basically no cross brace between the platform and the seat tube which normaly would have rendered it FK'd as the whole seat tube was ratling about loose. Greg just ignored this and proceeded to Rip huge airs and tweak simillar turn downs to the one in the picture. Truly one of my favourite vert riders ever.

I remember Greg slamming quite hard once and completely trash his bike. He borrowed someone else's. Different frame, completely different set up and with no warm up air to get used to the bike or anything, he proceeded to pull an air at least 8ft out on his first go. :idiot2: mental.

I saw Greg ride in the Tizer World Championships at Gloucester sports centre. I don't know what year it was but it may have been 87 or 88.
The guy ripped like you wouldn't believe and was easily the best there. Mat Hoffman was also there but not riding.

i remember riding from chingford station or what ever it was called to the ramp with greg and his back wheel whcih was a skyway exploded on a down hill . was funny at the time and getting to the ramp and getting another wheel off someone to go out the ramp and hang big time and having no bike to ride as no one wanted to give him a wheel as knew what could happen .
was one of the best air`s i saw was at meanwhile when he hit the roof ::)
