Title: did anyone ever get their raw street beat chromed?

Post by: macmark on October 13, 2006, 01:26 PM: I've not seen a streetbeat chromed but I remember Dave Vanderspeck had the Streetbeat prototype in Chrome with T/A style stickers, red tuffs and blue and red components when he did the UK Curb Dogs tour. It's in BMX Action Bike 10/84. If you want to see I'll get some scans done.

Post by: CD17 on October 13, 2006, 08:01 PM: There was a Chrome Streetbeat for sale on usbay a few months ago, it was a Nos one chromed by Skyway, I was going to bid on it, but I had just won a Nos 85 Performer & the streetbeat had no forks.

DCBMX was the seller & it never reached its reserve, so he may still have it.
