Just putting some grips on my first build...very tight - is there a lube I can use which won't eat the plastic? to help slide them on
My wife is watching me to great amusement getting red in the face and trying to slide them on.....
Cheers

Hair Spray , slides them on easy and then they stick :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:
Or you can just breath inside the grip a few times as the condensation will help also.

do you know what the best thing for grips is???
spit!
Seriously.. go on try it! it has enough mucus to smooth them on and once it evaporates they are stuck!

Actually...the best non-lube way of putting grips on is using wire ties or tie wraps. Put like 5 or 6 into the grip with the smooth side toward the bars. Get them spaced nicely and just slide the grips right on....then simply pull the tie wraps out...plus the fat end of the tie wraps acts as a grip to help pull them out.
Cheers...
