Title: Changa Forks - what's the alternatives ?

I saw Frosty's thread on Forks which got me thinking - i need a pair of Changa Forks for a frame i've just acquired....

These are gonna be hard to source, so what else can I use??

anyone have experience of this

I think the nearest are going to be the mongoose forks, see the pic below (same one used in my GHP thread)

I haven't got the VDC yet, but I think it uses a 5" threaded fork ?

all this 4" & 5" fork thing does my head in, they look very similar eh !

there was someone selling repro changa forks age`s ago but never seen them

waqs talking to dave and spud last night changa forks look the same as the goose ones
but you need 5 inch steerer tube and goose are 4 inch

If its a 5" headtube, your gonna struggle, I managed to get landing gear copies of Alans for £30, but ive been looking for 9 months to get the ones i need  :(
