Title: is anyone turning down alloy tubing to fit inside chromo bars, to lengthen them?

just weld a bit of handlebar on. i did, have fallen off hard a few times, and ive never had any probs.

then again i suppose it depends on how much you plan to widen them, i did 1 1/2 inch on both sides...

when you say depends how much phil, what was you thinking,   sommat like one foot each side....

lol...would that cause probs on the gate you reckon
