Title: Haro's waiting for me at Parcelforce Notts!
Post by: mightynimrod on November 03, 2006, 08:07 AM: Just got home from work this morning to a letter from Parcelforce depot in Nottingham

THE HARO IS HERE WAITING FOR ME.......YIPEEEEEE!

Got to get some bloody sleep though so can't go and pick it up today :'(

Not too bad, customs charges were only £23 so not too bad at all - still begrudge paying VAT on a bloody frame and fork set thats 20 odd years old :rant:

Well worth it though when i get it all built - just got to start getting the bits for it as and when funds allow.

I'll definately be posting it up tomorrow when i get it.

Ive sent the cash for the Z rims too so they should be here next week - all ready for a strip down and refurb :D

It's even better in the flesh, a couple of sticker wounds and the chrome needs a damn good polish but hey, it's over 20 years old :D

Need a decent brake set (gonna strip a pink set methinks) and a few other bits to get it sorted.

Im not 100% what scheme to go with though, black Am'e tri grips, black panaracers and black seat or the same but it white?

Black looks classy but then white looks in yer face stunning.

I know either will probably look good im just undecided.

Anyone offer up any ideas?

Post by: mightynimrod on November 10, 2006, 11:58 AM: Well, ive got a white kashimax copy coming, white panaracers, white MX seat clamp and some MX1000's in silver with white dia compe cables - just need to get some decent pedals, might have them blue to contrast, i can always strip em if it looks pap.

If it doesn't look right - sod it i can always change it.
