I was looking at the catalogue and spec for the Haro Group 1 RS1 1987 bike.
It says the seatpost is a haro fluted seatpost.
Is this what it means by a fluted seatpost ?

Also, what sticker did they have on them ?

yes please
I'm not sure i like the look of the flutted seat post, compared to the normal type of seat post.

It was fluted but not like the alloy one in your pic, I can't find a close up pic at the moment but I think the fluting was less pronouned (deep) if you know what I mean. I'm sure someone here will have a pic of one though :daumenhoch:

As you can see , the fluting in shallow like MartyC says
