The pics dont do it justice as you need to have a go in that pool to appprciate how mad Pat must be. Whats the highest anybody has ever got out of that pool?.

Post by: yoda on November 16, 2006, 10:54 AM

Title: Re: arma
Post by: jeff spicoli on November 16, 2006, 11:02 AM
at a guess 8 foot but I last saw it when I was 16, It looked massive to me then. How deep is it Pat , Dan ?.
Title: Re: arma
Post by: yoda on November 16, 2006, 11:08 AM
so its the fact that it has really tight tranny's that makes it a bit tricky to air out of.......

TIGHT, it should be called a sink and not a pool.

i'd say it's around 8-9 feet but very over vert, you have to get the rite line or you go over the bars when landing,

me and pat used to ride it all the time :)

me 83

still pat deosn't have the stress that  my billy puts me through when he rides, every week he
says to me he's going to try something new then i have to think what i'm going to tell

that marco sure was a nutter  :crazy2:

i see him turn up once @ rom

on a fizzy 50 with his bike bungie tied to his back

another time he pedald like a fook from the top of the run in (above the performance)

and hit the hip near the bullet, took a bail out and almost wore a DX in half :crazy2:

me fav though has got to be the day andy patterson and co came to rom

quite a few lads were jumping into the swimming pool, via the bank (a good 4 odd foot i think )

the pool had water in it,and marco missed the water completly and i think broke his ankle.........ouch

pat i used to love watching u lot snaking round rom :4_17_5:
