What stem are you trying to restore and is it painted or anodised :)

Plain alloy but quite battered and old
I know its a lot of elbow but what is best to rub down with then polish

Wet 'n' dry in soapy water normally does the trick . . . finish off with 1000 or 2000 grade before polishing :)
Got any pics ?

Not sure of make, any ideas? :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:
I'm amazed i got the pictures up, it's the first time I've tried

Well done with getting your pics posted :daumenhoch:
I reckon that stem should be pretty simple to restore. Use 400 wet 'n' dry in soapy water first and work down to finer grades finishing with 1000 / 2000 before polishing with Solvol or Peek

Nice one :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:
I'll give that a go then post the afters. Have just given it a quick polish and it came up good, so I'll try the old wet'n'dry and go for that sparkling look ya got down. ;) ;)
