are these cranks bmx or mountain bike ?.

look cook bros type bmx but fit both.

Turn them over, if the back of the arm has a groove then they are MTB, if they do not then they are BMX.

there are lots of different types(apparently) the gen 1's are the most desired(again apparently). nice cranks whichever they are imho

Like Stidds said you'll need to ask the seller if the have the hollowed out backs, if they do then they are Mtb cranks, not really strong enough for bmx use, (but they will fit a bmx).

I suspect they will be mtb crank arm as sellers normally photograph both sides when they are solid.

well worth asking though!

Ditto Stidds & Dan , only saw some hollowed out ones on .com a couple of days ago .

Also MTB ones are generally shorter  :daumenhoch:
