Darren text me to say he made the semi (well done again mate)
but any one know who won what mains.
-
Geth won his class, which is 30 + I think, and Jamie Vince won his class too, which is Masters I think ?
-
Geth won the Masters (30+ 20") and Jamie won the 40+ cruiser.
Big props to both of them.
And Dale Holmes didn't win Elite men for a change Kelvin Batey did.
Any other classes your interested in?
-
HOW DId you get on miles?
-
3rd. :o Still in a state of shock now, and going into my second evening of celebration.
I think this picture sums it up!

Great picture Miles, i was stood next to becca when she took it and i think i even saluted a fine third with a can of stella!!!
I also (raced) took part, to be totally honest the track was well above my ability and as such i nearly crashed in the first moto, and in the second put that right by having a monster off over the triple after tagging someones rear wheel and going into super man mode before landing on the next double like a sck of s##t. I declined the invite to take part in the next moto and retired to the comfort of the gazebo and large amounts of cider!
Great weekend, great venue. Dev

Next time you might fancy a little practice before racing.... Dino you nutter. :D
-
The "Flying Fox" was riding brilliantly all weekend and just beat The Warlock over the line in his semi for fourth place and a position in the Final. Well done Miles. Humps
And a big up for Jamie Vince for winning 40+ Cruisers for Free Agent and Braintree BMX Club.
-
Good on ya Miles, well done mate. You too Geth.
-
We won the first to leave cheddar prize....!!!
Warning - become a BMX dad at your peril :'(
-

Bet it still took you over five hours to get home Martin!! We left after James's Cruiser final and didn't get home until almost 10. It did run on a bit with all the injuries. Maybe next year they could just slide them down the hill instead of stretchering them off. Still, it was a good day and if I could just master sleeping in the back of a van I'd be happier. Humps

Yes Alan it was at least 4 and a half hours....accident at M4/M25 junction didnt help so we took a scenic route!!
The drive back hasnt helped me calm down much !! .....nothing more heart warming than seeing you son give up, sit down and let 3 riders through....therefore missing the semis by a point. My mum asked me today why we do it....I'm beginning to wonder myself :-\

Big props to miles , geth , little dev & big dev !

Blimey Martin I didn't realise you could be so grouchy!! And I beat you in the poll on BMXTalk so I should be the one wading in negativity!! "Why do we do it" ..... because we actually enjoy it, I think. Sure I didn't sleep much on Saturday night, saw Matt moto'd out of a Cruiser class of 10 riders, saw James pipped to 5th in his semi and stack twice, but all in all it wasn't a bad weekend. :-\ Humps "the official BMX grouch"
-
grouch trust me get me going and ill make the both of you look like has beens. im the official number one grouch!
