Well heres a couple of pics of my first build,85 master frame and forks that i bought from mivvi :daumenhoch:
still needs pedals and finishing off but wondered what you guys think, i;m well chuffed with it but i'm not sure about the seatpost, may swap it for a chrome gt if anyone can help, also thinking black pedals and a blue chainwheel.
Even though i like the wheels i've bought some white tuffs so may change them, anyhow opinions welcome

Thats where my 86 ;D
I think you just need to lower that seat post a bit & see what it looks like, but looks good & would still look good with Tuff's :daumenhoch:
-
Looks luvverly m8 :daumenhoch:
Just got myself a Master thats going in the powder coaters this week........something special is coming ;)
Well done matey - stick those tuffs on
-
Cheers, id seen your 86 and that made me decide the ukais would look ok,but the skyways may yet make an appearance, they should arrive tomorrow,i just like the clean look of it but im undecided on the white post, really want to change the seat for a white kashi aero and i think a blue chainwheel will finish it, then i will tighten the chain.
As for seat height, i agree it should be lowered but i put it like that cos i'm 6 4" and if its to low i'll look a right twat if i ride it LOL
-
laminate flooring and a leather settee well your definatly on the right track, its not a true old school ride if you aint got them in the photo ;)
looks sweet mate :4_17_5: well done try the skyways tho :daumenhoch:
-
yeah. I like it lots. cant beat a haro.
-
Looks sweet. I think I'd go for the chrome post though, that would finish it off perfectly.

I have too admit I prefer the alloys, it's nice to stop when you want. Not 100 yards past it!!!
-
Tuffs!!!! nice build
-
Tuff's everytime for me.
Nearly all my old school bikes have tuffs on them. ;)
I dont need credit cards anymore because tuffs are my flexible friends. :LolLolLolLol:
-
Go with the Tuffs...both of you.
P.S. Fuzzywig...where did you get your orange brakes from? and are they for sale if you decide to swap to blue or green ones :)
Nice bikes :daumenhoch:
-
The orange brakes were rattle can resto's by me (nicely done mind!), I found a NOS set of tech 4's and matched the calipers to 'em. I'd like a nice NOS real set myself.
-
i love the tuffs but i reckon that spokes were more envigue for a bike of this period , cant you just change them when you feel like it ???
-
nice one so far buy another on and have spokes on one tuffs on t'other
cause i sure as hell can't decide either i like both looks
-
go with the alloys
-
they came with tuffs as standard.....go with tuffs
