ANDOVER  is a good one for oldschoolers as its not to demanding and rides well all year round.

MK is another good track with some nice doubles to try out that are not to hard to clear.

TAUNTON is nice and easy too.

For pure fun it's just got to be Hersden.  There's a meeting on 16th October which is last in their Summer Series.  (unashamed plug) Any rider who hasn't enjoyed grassroots racing on a four-man track should get along to this meeting as it could be the last on "the little track" before they go fullsize.  And if you can beat Mr Rusty, Buckmore Bat and Zippy you'll upset the formbook which will make a lot of people happy!!

Also for "fun" watch for the Winter Regional at Brixton (Brockwell Park) which should be on the old-skool track; it's fullsize but only has half-a-dozen jumps.  Bit of a power track but still huge fun with a couple of tight, foot on the ground berms.  Will plug this one when I see a date but keep the second Sunday in November free, just in case.

I love a few tracks for differnet reasons.

MK is the best small track in the land, best flow I think.
Peterborough is my fave national track, but its hard work and the jumps can be a bit on the large side, but that how a national track should be.

Then there are some sections of tracks that rule too.

Coppull last straight.
Harworth last straight.
Cheddar third straight.
Bournemouth third straight.

I would like to have spent more time at Wheelbase, cos I think that would have been great. I haven't spent much time at any particular track, but really did enjoy the Saturday at MK when we went earlier in the year. Hersden is a great confidence builder for anyone thinking about starting racing.
