Hi,
I just bought a Dia-Compe AD990 brake for my group1.
I know how to mount it, but how do i connect up the cable ?
it came with these two bits also (The long bit has a plastic inner sheath)

I need the screw in bit to go into the frame

Looks to me like a normal size one that you get on a normal caliper.
PLEASE DOES ANY ONE HAVE AN OLD CALIPER THEY COULD TAKE THE ADJUSTER OFF AND SEND TO ME .... PRETTY PLEASE

Hi,
Am i missing a short length of cable and a metal bracket piece which to attach the normal brake cable too ?
Anyone know where i can get these bits from ?
-
Looked at the haro catalogue and i am missing a cable and bridge as shown

Forget the noodle and use a straddle cable as shown ^^^^ looks like you were sold the wrong bits.
-
Ive got a bridge if you PM your address i'll send it off, as for the straddle cable you just need a short length of regular brake cable with the barrel on the end.
