Title: Foil decal removal
Post by: Mattdub on December 03, 2006, 09:52 PM: Clear back decals = hairdryer .

What about foil back decals ? . I'd like to try & save at least one if poss to be able to scan , can it be done or does the foil disintegrate (sp) ?.

so prehaps theres a better way

as they fall to pieces fluid or hairdryer .good luck

Not sure how you can adhere it back on again. We use 'Spray mount' but that if only for card

Sounds cool , how do you apply the lighter fluid ? , wipe on ?

Put fluid on a rag and wipe decal ?

Post by: burnaliser on December 04, 2006, 04:07 PM: Lighter fluid should work perfectly, I use it to get video shop labels off old videos that I collect and it always takes the stickers off without damaging the sleeves at all, so should be fine :daumenhoch:
