Title: how to fit new grips

just got some new grips (primo martinez) just wondering if anyone has any fitting tips, i was gonna use good ol fairy liquid?

Post by: zed4130 on December 09, 2006, 01:49 PM: just good old spit and a thump with ya hand thats all it takes no fairy they will slip off spit dries in mins :daumenhoch:

i use hairspary,sqiurt a bit into the grip and squeeze it together a few times untill it feels tacky,then pop 'em back on the bars,it might be a bit tight but get a rubber mallet,or a tea towel over your hand and bang 'em on

Post by: BrianP on December 09, 2006, 02:23 PM: I use rubber solution out of a puncture repair kit. Never had throttle grip probs with it.

Slides on nicely with no effort, and they can still be taken off with good ol' spit afterwards.
