This is an Standard that I put together to try and ride brakeless on my backyard ramp, but it got a bit scary once I`d learnt to pump properly :crazy2:

niceness right there,
is it a trailboss?
what length is tha stem? atomlab?
harris are you they guy with the white standard shorty? thats quite a resto you've got there!
-
That S&M looks class :daumenhoch:
-
Yeah it an atomlab stem, not sure on the size though, it`s a Casius (sp) 250 frame, it was my sons but was a bit big for him, so I made up my T1 for him (20tt) when I got my Proper, now he`s on a Fly mosca. I put it together with all the bits and pieces that were over from my newschool builds, and it rides nice to be honest, but I`ve got a freecoaster on my Proper so ride that most of the time :daumenhoch:

i think that would be early 90's then

Midschool for me is from 91 to arround 98/99 ....
-
easier to say it's just "the 1990's"
rather than limiting it to certain parts and specs
although the phrase "midschool" is bollocks anyway.
when i was buying a new bike in 96 or 97 it was just a "newschool" bike. well it wasnt oldschool anyway!
-
in 10 years time will mid school be called 2nd gen or something similar
-
And what was it called when you got a "new" bike in the 80s???? My first BMX in 1982 was the first brand new bike I had and it sure wasnt old school at that time!
-
it's all cobblers
someone the other day told me that "retro is in". oh great. retro is in. well the sooner it's not trendy to be "retro" the sooner the bmx stuff gets cheaper again.
-
I met a guy in about 92 who found out I was into BMX.
He said "ive got a firebird, its very retro".
i said "No, its very shit".
I guess he had the last laugh as they are collectable now. Oh well, so are some lawn mowers!
