im going to start racing again in 2007, i dont know which bike to use, i built both of these bikes to look at but im bored of just looking at them now and it seems criminal not to use them for what they were made to do, so my question is which one is stronger and has better angles etc also where is the best place to buy body armour and lids from

Be great to see that DY getting spanked round the track :smitten:
But you ain't gonna win any races without chains :crazy2:
-
they r both beauties :smitten: mate ya will have to try um both and see wich feels best for u :daumenhoch:
-
JMC all the way it looks longer in the top tube for a start.
Darren rode Radmans DY at the Rad meet this year and loved it.
-
use the goose
but even if you arent gonna ride them get some chains fitted!!!
bikes look super ugly without chains
deffo go with the goose though
it's a good all rounder
if it gets tweaked, use the jmc ;)
-
Got to be the DY...
-
u would obviously get more admiring glances if ya raced the DY
plus i wanna have a go this time :daumenhoch:
-
The Dy will feel better me thinks , the bars on the DY will deffo feel better than Pro Class bars :daumenhoch:
-
cant belive u even asked this qestion matt ?? DY all the way ffs !! .. good on ya matt cant wait to see u fall off !! :LolLolLolLol: ..only joking mate :daumenhoch:
-
Yep, the JMC would be my ultimate option too :daumenhoch:

i have ridden a few gooses over the years
most recently being a supergoose 3, a few times at bones this year
thats why i say the goose ;)
the jmc would be "cool" option. but i have never ridden one and cant really comment on how it would ride. the goose i know would be sound
-
dy without a doubt :daumenhoch:
-
Race the DY, get pads/armour etc from ChainReactionCycles. Brand-X are very good.
-
I'd say try them both too.
Never ridden a JMC so can't comment. But took Funmonster's Pro Class around MK and it was fooking lovely. Very solid.
-
my mate had a pc when we were about 12 he broke it three times in a year at the toptube where it meets the seat tube the replaced the bike fair play but he was just an average kid who had a 1/4 in his back yard and his dad had a few quid , they have tubes of varying thickness to save on weight , i think this is what makes it weak you wouldnt want to snap that sweet ride , id get one myself if it werent for this fact , ill stick to my sg3
-
just dont forget the D.Y has a steep headtube angle which will make the steering very quick.
-
well it will be the only thing that is quick :LolLolLolLol:

I have ridden and raced loads of old school bikes... I straddled Aidey Kings JMC DY once bitd and cannot honestly remember how good it was ;D The Pro Class is the best frame i have raced. Light and responsive but also remarkably stiff and very stable.
Like the guys say tho... try them both :) They are beautiful builds m8... you will look princely riding either :daumenhoch:
