Post by: mclarenj on December 19, 2006, 07:53 PM
Hi Guys
Does anyone know what makes a good Chrome cleaner ? Is WD40 any good ? Or is there something a can buy off the shelf that is good to help bring up my frame good as new?

Thanks for reading.

i use autosol smetimes if the frame is in quite good condition can be a little abrasive ,others prefer other polishes look in tech and restoration there are a few tips on polishes there i have just been given a small 240v motor witch i secured to a work bench the shaft on the motor has been threaded to take polishing heads and with the use of a diferent grade of mop and polishing soap i can atchieve a mirror finish on a old frame with out rechroming ,hard work but saves over£200 on a rechrome.
