Yeah how did you get those tyres on... ;)

Looks like its going to be a nice build  :daumenhoch:

I would say Black DX, but a bit expensive, so SX or some Black GT DX pedals would be good.

cracks dont  sound like they are squared up correct or the bearings are the wrong way round, the brakes sound like the spring is not in corretly ,hard to say without seeing it

didnt realise the bearings were sided :-[ :-[ (as i said first build)!
how do you tell which way round they go?
sorry if this is a really stupid question

is your chain con and over your free wheel? does the cranks spin free with the chain off?

is it sealed bearings ie new type cranks
if so is the spacer the right lenght in betwen bearings
new type aint sided .try slackening the arms a bit and spin cranks

The open end of the bearing race should be facing inwards. So the side that reveals the ball bearings face inwards into the BB mounting cups in the frame. Use lots of grease and you don't need to tighten much more that finger tight... just untill any unwanted movememnet (sideways) has gone. This is what I've done anyways... and a very similar procedure with the headset. Hopw this helps

In which case, I think you forget what I wrote.  :-[

this is what it looked like before i installed it
the collar that ive circled i used as a spacer because i couldn't figure out
what else it was for.
if you look closely at the bearings they are slightly different.
one is a snug fit over the spindle and the other
slips through with no resistance?
