i picked up a looptail mini ripper yesterday with landing gear lites, it has got a small gold MCS stem on it, and black silver sunshine hubs. Now the F+F is common as muck, but i have never clapped eyes on one of these stems before. Any info would be appreciated. I also want to know what it is worth(mini ripper) as i have no idea. I will add pics later.

there was a black one on ebay (mcs) last week? it may even still be on.

I can remember them from bitd but don't think I've seen one in over 20 years. We used to sell quite a few of them on the juniors and mini's but don't know very much about them other than not being suitable for bigger riders.
I do like the look of them though, I think MCS were very innovative and ahead of their time with their designs, it's got a real mid to new school look about it.
Nice bike though, where do you find these little gems?

well it says max rider weight 80lbs, so thats my left leg covered, now for the rest of me :-\

Nice find and there's not that many MR looptails in circulation ... I stupidly sold mine earlier this year :(

The downtube decals came from "steve" ... I had an A4 sheet full of them but I let them go with the bike when I sold it :(
