but why did this pair of cranks get to $830!!

to me they seem that same as the ones that Billy sold late last year!!!

Yeah I saw the auction and thread on OS , I'm thinking the winner reckons he gets both sets ! , I would'nt post two sets in the pics even though he put it in print ? (only one set) .

I bid and sort of expected to get beat unless folks were saving money for xmas, but $830 I suspect they'll be a re-list soon then.

I only went to $325 because they were 185mm and that was what I really wanted for racing. I think Darrens only went for about £150 3 monthish ago and they looked OK for riders. Just goes to show know yer market before you bid or you will pay OTT

Yes your right, the same Cranks were put on ebay 6 week before with a profile spider & they did not reach there reserve of £200.
It really depends who wants them when you list them.
It also depends what type Darens were if they were first or second Box Cranks then they are worth a lot more.
