I just read a thing on a website:
"I remember Romford skatepark, first from a short Channel 4 music video in '84, created for a 'youth' orientated show called 'switch', remember the song AEIOU by Freeze!? (mainstream electro freakout!). The short featured mainly local boy and BMX freestyler, Craig Campbell, busting airs and tricks around the park, which he obviously knew so well"
Anyone got it and could you youtube it?

im pretty sure bill has the whole show with the campbell clip, along with superbike dan and arma taking over the show jumping out of the bullet and dropping into the performance, think bill was on it too...

That’s great. Any chance of getting it on line somewhere (or even of sending me a copy)?
I got the quote from a mate of mine who takes photos’ and has always had a passion for Rom. He first went there in the early 80s and we went last year. His new photo site has a section on Rom and I think he would appreciate any constructive feedback about what he has said.

Id love to be able to show him the TV clip from Switch.

That's bizarre! I saw that video last night on one of the Sky music channels. I don't remember seeing Rom on it though I just saw some kids on BMX's riding around the streets and some body poppers. The song was called I.O.U.
Video is here ::CLICK:: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BnIAKArwBk)

Loved this song when I was like 12, but I realized tonight I had never seen the video before.
One more reason to love it, besides Arthur Baker produced it :D

Can`t find the video at the moment, I did put it up on a hosting site, but it seems to have dissapeared :(
