Title: info needed bb bearings
Post by: harris on January 12, 2007, 03:42 PM: i have an axle that is a tad bigger than my 19mm pofile bearings
has anyone else had any such bearings .mine seem to be 19.5mm
or is there an imperial size i should be asking for.

Post by: Moose on January 12, 2007, 04:06 PM: I'm sure there's a 19mm/20mm axle (where the size of the axel increases where the bearings sit). Might have been Gusset or someone like that ???

the bearing just wont seat so do they do 20mm bearings never looked before

(I got the 20mm axle turned down to 19mm on a lathe by a mate so I could run a profile US BB on it)

LMK what OD bearings you need mate (and gimme a shout re the standard stickies too)

I've four bearings here out of a Euro BB, 20mm ID, 31mm OD.
They'd hardly be big enough, would they?
