Title: --- White Tuffs ---

A good scrub with cream cleanser (Cif) followed by the well known bleach treatment ... just need to fit my new axle kits now

i tried dying mine black and it was a disaster >:(
ive has them in neat bleach for 3 days now and they are a yellowy orange!!!!!! :wtf: :shocked: :shocked:

The CIF did most of the work so they didn't need much bleaching at all

If you've dyed your Tuffs then you'll probably not be able to restore the white ... continue dying them using plenty of salt and heat

I've got some old alloy white tuffs coming, you've inspired me :daumenhoch:

Post by: JAY on January 20, 2007, 12:54 PM: The one i done , i left it in thin neat bleach for a week ,after a good clean with cif . The cleaner you get the wheel before bleaching the better , i just used Tesco own brand thin bleach ,28p a go ......... :daumenhoch:

so 3 days is nowhere near enough
stick em back in neat bleach and leave em for a fortnight stir em twice a day as well
and then see what there like what have you got to lose
