They'll probably end up my Trick Star Jay :daumenhoch:

The CIF did most of the work so they didn't need much bleaching at all
If you've dyed your Tuffs then you'll probably not be able to restore the white ... continue dying them using plenty of salt and heat

Wow Steve, they came out real nice dude!
:daumenhoch:
-
Well done Steve - now can I send you mine to do also :LolLolLolLol:
-
How long does the mrs need to be scrubbing them for before the bleach and at least how long in the bleach just so I can plan out her afternoon a bit better before the lazy moo get's my tea on. I've got some old alloy white tuffs coming, you've inspired me :daumenhoch:
-
The one i done , i left it in thin neat bleach for a week ,after a good clean with cif . The cleaner you get the wheel before bleaching the better , i just used Tesco own brand thin bleach ,28p a go ......... :daumenhoch:
-
Exactly as Jay say's ... perfection is in the preparation :daumenhoch:

i had me zytecs in bleach for two weeks
so 3 days is nowhere near enough
stick em back in neat bleach and leave em for a fortnight stir em twice a day as well
and then see what there like what have you got to lose
-
Yeah, that's about all you can do really ... otherwise continue dying them using plenty of salt and heat
