after years of searching this old dog finally arrived on the doorstep,
apparently its the only one that spooky's "frank the welder" ever built with a 21.5 toptube,
i cant even find reference of another on the internet,
its silly light compared with the steel frames i'm used to so i'm after building it up with as much ti and carbon i can get,
it wont get ridden as much as my laf like, its only as a secondary trails and track bike,
surely this has to be one of the rarest bikes on the planet?

If there's only one then its rare :LolLolLolLol:
I can think of other rarities.(one offs) Not sure anyone on here would be interested in them though as they're all "nu skool" ;)

all rare models are worth a shout geth    :daumenhoch:

Loads of one offs get built at S&M factory for their riders.
Neal Wood built his own! That would be definitely a rarity. Imagine owning a frame that was actually built by the rider!
James Brooks had a Neal Wood production frame but with a different bottom bracket and brake positioning. Another one off.
I'm sure they must do it for the FIT team too.
I'll double check with Martin Murray but I reckon his frame is a one off too...
I bet there's more that that :daumenhoch:

When I first read the text, before the pic had loaded up. I thought you were going to say its a mad dog frame! Now thats a rare frame, esp as it wasnt an early 80s frame, and it was a production frame. Im looking for one so if any one knows of one ....

its from 1999 so it is on the edge of new school, but no euro bb so its a bit of an oddball,
its rarity lies in the fact that it was built by a bicycle industry legend, frank waddleton,
i'm looking for a spooky metalhead to match it if anyone knows of a good one!

Late mid school, looks nice I certainly like it  :daumenhoch:  Would look great with gold or chrome parts  ;)

Talking of old S&M frames ... which I was ... and often am, and since this is the race section, does anyone have a 1" challenger? I shouldnt really ask as Ive got one on its way from the US and Im sure Im going to get stung on Import and VAT when it gets here.
Always worth asking.

				i'd have a challenger aswell, it'd have to be a 21"tt though,
always wanted a neil wood frame too, my laf's got a wood frame sticker on it i really regret using,
i got a set of challenger stickers last week actually!

Thats one rare bit of kit you've got there.. :daumenhoch:
I don't rate Euro BB's much, I was getting through a few Profile ones a year, I use an s&m one and that seems to be a bit better. US BB's are much stronger, I've had the same one on my Spooky for years with no probs.
I know of a nice Metalhead, mine, but I'm not selling it...
