I have got a pair of Renthal handlebars that could do with a damn good polish, whats the best way to do this. I have tried Autoglym metal polish but this has made no difference. I haven't got access to a polishing wheel or anything like that. :D

Are they annodised silver? If so you may need to strip them using oven cleaner and then a bit of elbow grease with Peek or Autosol, if not just plenty of elbow grease and Autosol :daumenhoch:
-
I think they are annodised, not really sure though.
-
Try some oven pride on the bit where the grips go, then you can see if it is anno....
-
if autosol made no difference its probably anodised.
strip it and polish it.
-
they may have a clear anno on them if its not silver strip n polish they will come up like chrome :daumenhoch:
-
renthals, annodised, caustic, oven cleaner, fumes, polish, happy.
-
Cheers guys. :daumenhoch:
