Title: making a frame
Post by: theRuler on February 04, 2007, 08:20 PM
anyone ever built a bmx frame from scratch?

i have often thought of doing this.

or modding an existing frame substantially. if i ever get hold of a TA frame i got some plans.

Me and my dad repaired my ACE frame by replacing the front triangle, I extended the front end by 2". The best bit was the tubing I used I nicked from some old school desks. It rode reasonable well, but the metal sadly lacked the qualities of cro mo and I snapped it 3 months later..... :-[
