Title: Bleeching mushroom grips.
Post by: oldsky on July 22, 2005, 10:01 PM
I got a white pair sent over from Ginny's but one is quite discoloured.  Has anyone ever tried bleeching a pair of these and if so did it work?

Thanks

Warm, soapy water (washing up liquid), a cap full of vinegar or lemon juice, in a bowl, bucket or sink.

- chuck the grips in and soak... then give a light
scrub with a soft nail brush. (Mainly brushing with up and down the gaps)

Rinse with clean cool water...

If not perfect 1st time round - redo !

 ;)

on all my grips that need any form of cleaning i use the pvc solvent cleaner that i use on windows and fascia boards .it seems to bring most things up very well .
