Or I Was Looking For A Kuwahara E.T. Or Hutch Trickstar
an e.t. aint good for anything but looking good
the trickstars however are real nice bikes to ride. for flatland though. the head angle is a bit steep for racing

Are Team Raleigh Burner Replica's Any Good Or Raleigh Mag Burner's? :daumenhoch:
-
an e.t. aint good for anything but looking good
Nice frames Gray. They actually ride really well, I thought the same until i got one.
Don't knock the ET until you try it.

Well Me Budget Is £200 What Descent BMX Could I Get 4 Racing
-
raleigh mag burners are only good for racing to the tip
the walk back home in the rain with no shoes on, taking a shortcut through a cactus plantation would be more enjoyable
the team replica looks like a fair bike for the money
ancient technology on them though. more looks than performance
buy a new PK ripper instead.
in my opinion

I've been fortunate enough to have owned/raced on a TA, a Hutch and a Kuwie looptail. All were really good frames, the Hutch was the nicest for me.
Also taken a Pro-Class mongoose and a DB HL Turbo around MK. Again both lovely bikes to race.
If you can get a ride on someones bike then do. Each to their own. All bikes feel so different. You need to try before you buy if you can.

i think i am put off by their gigantic price tags of late
when bitd they were just a novelty catalogue bike.

Again depends whether you want to get new or old school.
You will get a better bike for you money if it is a new school.
You can get a bargain on ebay sometimes. Got my Looptail Kuwie complete with a set of alloyhubbed tuffs and NOS chrome Araya 7b's for £250.

Looked a rotter but it was only surface rust and the frame came up almost like new.
I did get it restored to this though:

To be honest what was the best racer for us back in the day definetey isn't the best racer for us today. Bear in mind that we can weigh at least half as much as we did back then, we tend to be a fair bit taller as well.
I ran a Robinson Pro but found it a tad short on the old wheel base. Just upgraded to a Pro XL which is about an inch longer. it's a 90 but still runs a 1" headset and caliper brakes. In fact a lot of the old schoolers are now switching to very late 80's or where they can very early 90's bikes because they offer the best of both worlds.
On a personal note I wouldn't choose to ride any of the bikes n your list.

old rippers cost a mint
buy a new one

You never mentioned Redline proline tut tut.
I would say a mongoose cali to get yoiu started, Dont trick it out with NOS bits, use stuff up thats good but needs restoring otherwise you will be well pissed the first time you wipe out your nice shiny pedals or araya rims....
Ive been there and ity aint a nice feeling
-
But wtf is an aero??
Im i being stupid here.. in the above list does raleigh mean everything bar the aero pro.
and the aero is an aero pro?
some one tell me.. i can't fookin sleep worring about this!
-
maybe the "aero" is one of those generic aero tange frames a lot of people had bitd
-
its a choc bar :2funny:

I always favoured a Kuwi,
or the DB Harry Leary Turbo, which I wish i'd kept !!
-
You've missed out the TA - best balanced bike I've ever ridden!
-
the TA was a great bike, a few of my 'more affluent parented' friends had them, even used them on ramps for freestyling, great all round bike imo,
:)
-
Without question the TA for me too.. :smitten:
-
I'm still in shock about the wispa.
-
GT pro
GHP pro
JMC
DP delta2 for starters, nice geometry
can't go wrong with initailed frames
but try and avoid the
POS :LolLolLolLol:
