Hi guys,
Attached pics show the current status of my very first build. Waiting for the stem to arrive so I can finally get the handle bars on and connect the brake cables.
As you can see in the pics the blue ACS z rims I got don't seem to compliment the color theme IMO. I really wanted them to be baby blue but I think the only way I can get them to work is to dye them a blue similar to the pedals/chainwheel? My other thought was to sell them and find a set of white z rims instead. What do you guys think?
All feedback is welcome
Danny

no mate id dye em up the same blue as they are now, then id get some stickers for the rims with them white tyres it will look sweet as :daumenhoch:
not sure on the seat post tho, lay back or straight for me, but thats my personal preference :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:
-
that is going to be sweet :daumenhoch: where did you get the stickers?
-
same as flax says.
i'd leave the rims the darker colour.
will match the blue on the stickers and a bit of contrst.
will look good built :daumenhoch:.

Thanks for the feedback fellas.
Reason I went with the s post is that I'm a tall guy (6'4" tall) and wanted the extra space. I'm gonna order the same post in a standard layback as well (it's only $15 anyways). What do you guys think of putting a set of white spokes on the blue z's and mating them to the blue acs z hubs I have and matching blue spoke nipples?
