hi tim here,
im wondering if any rad members go over to chick sands near bedford and milton keynes ? i usually ride my identiti 24 but have recentley been taking my tatty old hutch over as well and find my times are similar.
let me know if anyone interested in hooking up for sunday riding, there is usally a team gathering there and top riders hitting the six packs on modern bmx's during afternoon and into the evening. there is a large and small 6 pack section and an awesome 4 cross and dual slalom track. there are both amazing. last weekend there an old school bmxer there (forgot name) and he stuffed all the cruisers, full susses, and anyone else you can think off.
the whole area is dedicated to riding, bmx freindly, and only a fiver if asked! found! ah hum! wink wink nudge nudge say no more, for a days riding. although paying and not needing to hide here and there is a definite way to go.

I'm hoping to be riding there more this year, time permitting.
I'm trying to get my legs back after the lazy winter first though, but should be fit to start riding up there in a month or so.

I will have to check it out next time I am down there as I am Project Managing a job in the MoD base at Chicksands. Was down there on Tuesday. Where exactly is the track/trails?

I ride up Chicky some times, but not as much as I'd like to.
The 4X track is a superb session on a cruiser, not done it on a 20" yet, but I'm sure it would be a laugh if a little rough.
The drit jumps are good as well, I ghosted my 20" so high last time I did them when it landed the tyre touched the frame. :uglystupid2:
I hope to get there again some time soon, but the summer race season is nearly here so I better get it in quick, or I'll never find the time.

Was the old school BMXer Dave Godfrey ( blue S&M cruiser ) ? .
He won a Masters final there a few months back & got loads of bitchin' thrown at him ::)
