Title: hutch stem (deep H?)
Post by: woksmuggler on February 25, 2007, 06:30 PM
hey guys i was given an old bmx by a mate, its a mixture of parts with curtis frame and ammaco forks, its the stem which has got me puzzled, i believe its a hutch stem maybe called a 'deep h'? it an aluminium stem very chunky with four bolts clamping the bars and as the deep h name suggests there is a H machined in the cap about 3-4mm deep, anyone know when it dates from or what its worth? is it rare etc? i can e-mail pics if it will help? cheers
