I remember going to Rom and they'd just got their first pair of DX's in stock and had them hanging up on the peg boards near the office when my mum came to pick my sister up who worked there at the time. One of the owners John Greenwood was trying to get my mum to buy them for me. They were blue ones and he made me stroke them but she wouldn't get them for me. :'(

Is it the same bloke? I thought the Campbells bought it out? He used to wind me up something rotten, I was always going home saying John says I need this or that. I did get 3 Haro Thunderbolt plates from him cos they weren't selling. Wish I'd kept them now. :tickedoff:
I'll have to get up there soon. Bike or no bike.
