its funny though 'ive allways prefered racing frames for freestyle  :daumenhoch: my last freesyle bike was my firebird and i hated that   :buck2: my old ripper was my favourite bmx from bitd  :daumenhoch:

mmm pretty much tells us what the best bmxers selected BITD. redline of course  :4_17_5:
i don't know the exact year but i'd suggest that bmxa edition is in 1983. am i close?
did you know that the full bike from redline was called the carrera pl-20 and the frame fork set only was called proline-II. i'm still trying to get the year when redline put the BB brace in the chainstays. anyone got a non BB braced pl-20? mine is a "RC' which makes it a 1983, it has the brace. my original proline-II i bought new in late 1981 didn't have the brace.

excellent post zed  :daumenhoch:

I will have to check tomorrow, but I think it RA. I got my first one in 1982 as a frame/forks from hotshot :daumenhoch:

Ah Yes, I have seen it before but that is super nice, I have just started a PL register if you wanna join in the fun.

I have a set of grab ons in red, but I want to fit them, sorry. They do come up on the bay, but silly money :-[

i was thinking of cheating and buying some radgrips off parrishpaws so i don't waste a good set of grabons :idiot2: but i'll look at it down the track at how close it is to what i had in '83 and just know.................i'll keep searching for the grabons  :LolLolLolLol: then its finished (except for the BB brace) to how my proline-II looked in 1983 when i stopped racing.

sorry for the hijack zed  :-[

Radgrips are pretty good, just not as bling as grab ons.  ::)
