Title: V bars
Post by: selfpreservation on March 07, 2007, 12:24 AM
ive noticed not many builds on here have Vbars , is it because they were w4nk

the theory was the "v" flexed a little bit. so if the bars have very slight cracking on the finish in the middle of the "v" then the bars are doing what they were designed to do.

i have 3 redline builds at the moment, all have v-bars. i don't believe i'm a shuffle munsterer but others may digress  :2funny: :2funny:

V Bars were cool and very popular in the early days, the only real drawback is that they have a lot of sweep on them and can be quite narrow.  The Redline Proline V Bars were bigger with less sweep and were one of my favs.  I have a build at the moment that has V bars going on it  :daumenhoch:.

I love's a v-bar but i think the main problem is that the majority of surviving ones are those Win bars and they seem to have a bit of a landar stigma about them. Snobbery, if you ask me. Anywhere where's my VDC freestyle bars they need a polish.  :buck2:

I had a couple of pairs of Wassell V bars they were cool, but they work hardened and snapped in the end on the cross brace.  They were well lite too if I remember , they went some way to lightening my Extra Burner. :LolLolLolLol:
