Title: Suntour bear traps

Hi guys,
I've seen a couple of sets of suntour beartraps for sale on the bay,but both pairs look different,does anyone have pics of original ones and what to look for?

There are two versions of the pedal!

The other version does not have the pedal body loop round the cages and have 2 (I think) teeth on top.

Value not sure, but if you can stumble across some XC I cages for these pedals then they are worth big bucks!!

The early 3+1 stud ones are the most valuable apparently

now i read that i am no wiser. The only thing i got out of that is that sutour were not quite sure what they wanted to make. :D

the alloy body backs up the cage in a curve , check the body and follow from the lugs the later ones have extra alloy to strenghen the cages

but did subtour do a normal beartrap as well not the XC11
