Title: Bit of a stupid question....but
Post by: pickle on March 08, 2007, 03:27 PM
Is the standard size for a new school seat post clamp 26.8mm?

I don't have a tape measure to hand but that would seem to be about right??

Cheers and sorry for the stupid question  :daumenhoch:

Hi pickle, are you sure it's not 28.6mm as opposed to 26.8mm?

I've a profile slim jim here, and I think it came in two sizes - 28.6mm for a 25.4mm seatpost, 31.8mm for an aluminium frame with a 26.6mm or 26.8mm seatpost.

;)

Brian.
